The biggest shipments were from Romania (X kg), together accounting for 100% of total export.
Romania experienced a relatively flat trend pattern with regard to volume of exports of crabs, not frozen. While the share of Romania (+99 p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2015 with an increase of 3%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2018, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, crabs, not frozen imports stood at $X in 2018. In general, imports continue to indicate a dramatic setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 7.7%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2017 to 2018, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2018, Austria (X tons) was the key importer of crabs, not frozen in the European Union, generating 100% of total import.
Austria was also the fastest-growing in terms of the crabs, not frozen imports, with a CAGR of +5.2% from 2012 to 2018. While the share of Austria (X p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
