Italy, with a CAGR of +26.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in the European Union amounted to $X per unit, approximately reflecting the previous year. Export price indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +11.2% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, direction finding compass export price decreased by -0.8% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 171% against the previous year. By contrast, France (-11.5%) and Germany (-13.2%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. The Netherlands (+13 p.p.), Sweden (+6.1 p.p.), Belgium (+2.3 p.p.), Spain (+2 p.p.) and Poland (+1.9 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Germany and France saw its share reduced by -9.6% and -10.5% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported direction finding compasses in the European Union, comprising 33% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by France ($X), with a 10% share of total imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 10% share.
In the Netherlands, direction finding compass imports expanded at an average annual rate of +3.4% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: France (+0.7% per year) and Germany (-7.4% per year).
