The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when the export price increased by 15% against the previous year. Among the main importing countries, Poland, with a CAGR of +16.5%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per pair, waning by -1.9% against the previous year. Import price indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, import price for footwear with uppers of textile materials increased by +55.2% against 2012 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 16% against the previous year.
