In 2021, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per unit, rising by 3.3% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, faced a abrupt slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 174% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2016 to 2021, the import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was France ($X per unit), while Cyprus ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
