In value terms, exports of non-woven, felt and coated textile garments reached $X in 2021. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +1.5% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The export price in the European Union stood at $X per unit in 2021, approximately equating the previous year. Overall, the export price showed a deep downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the export price increased by 5.4%. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per unit), while Spain ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Denmark (-1.0%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per unit, waning by -8.6% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded a perceptible contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when the import price increased by 14%. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per unit), while Denmark ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
