In value terms, the largest gravure printing machinery supplying countries in the European Union were Germany ($X), Italy ($X) and the Czech Republic ($X), together accounting for 95% of total exports. France, the Netherlands and Belgium lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 3.8%.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 when the import price increased by 3,651% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per unit), while Greece ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
