The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when the export price increased by 5.2%. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per unit), while Spain ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +92.8% against 2018 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 27% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in the near future.

The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% over the period from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 16%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.

Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 24% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
