From 2016 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, fungicide and bactericide exports expanded notably to $X in 2021. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained consistent, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 12% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Romania, with a CAGR of +9.5%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per ton, remaining stable against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, recorded a noticeable downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the import price increased by 12%.
