In 2021, the export price in the European Union amounted to $X per ton, waning by -7.3% against the previous year. Over the last nine-year period, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 60%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while Portugal ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+12.1%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, overseas purchases of insulating fittings for electrical purposes decreased by -4.5% to X tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year rising trend. In general, imports showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 21% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, insulating fittings imports soared to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.8% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In 2021, Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons), Spain (X tons), Sweden (X tons) and France (X tons) was the largest importer of insulating fittings for electrical purposes in the European Union, making up 60% of total import. It was distantly followed by the Netherlands (X tons), making up a 4.7% share of total imports. Poland (X tons), Romania (X tons), Belgium (X tons), Slovakia (X tons), Croatia (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons) and Bulgaria (X tons) took a little share of total imports.

Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 38% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2014 to 2021, the import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per ton), while Italy ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
