The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest metal stud-link chain supplying countries in the European Union were the Netherlands ($X), Italy ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined 68% share of total exports.

The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +2.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

In 2021, the export price in the European Union amounted to $X per ton, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. In 2021, imports of iron/steel stud-link chain in the European Union plummeted to X tons, with a decrease of -33.6% against 2020. In general, imports saw a perceptible shrinkage. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
