The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 with an increase of 92%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, mixtures of slag imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 90% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported mixtures of slag in the European Union, comprising 56% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by France ($X), with a 25% share of total imports. It was followed by Denmark, with a 4.3% share.
