In 2022, the EU octyl alcohol market was finally on the rise to reach $X after three years of decline. Overall, imports saw a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 26% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, octyl alcohol imports dropped to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 with an increase of 75%. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X, and then contracted in the following year.
