In value terms, Belgium ($X) remains the largest sodium triphosphate supplier in the European Union, comprising 61% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Czech Republic ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by the Netherlands, with a 7.9% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in Belgium was relatively modest. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the Czech Republic (+13.9% per year) and the Netherlands (+8.8% per year).

Based on 2022 figures, sodium triphosphate import price increased by +72.9% against 2016 indices. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
