In value terms, Germany ($X) remains the largest transmission shaft supplier in the European Union, comprising 43% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Italy ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by France, with a 6.4% share.

In Germany, transmission shaft exports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Italy (+2.5% per year) and France (-1.1% per year).
