From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Hungary stood at +4.2%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: France (-6.5% per year) and Sweden (-25.5% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The export price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, falling by -3.2% against the previous year. Export price indicated a notable expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, base station export price increased by +83.7% against 2016 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 63%. In Russia, base station imports declined by an average annual rate of -4.1% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Italy (+5.1% per year) and Germany (-6.4% per year).

The import price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, surging by 11% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 30% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices attained the maximum at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
