At the same time, Poland (+6.6%), Bulgaria (+6.2%), Russia (+5.7%), Spain (+4.7%), the Netherlands (+4.4%), Ireland (+3.9%), Austria (+3.5%), Italy (+2.9%), Switzerland (+2.0%) and the UK (+1.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Poland emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Europe, with a CAGR of +6.6% from 2012-2022. France and Belgium experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. Poland (+2.3 p.p.) and Germany (+1.9 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total exports, while France and Belgium saw its share reduced by -1.8% and -2.2% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Germany ($X) remains the largest cereal, fruit or nut chocolate bar supplier in Europe, comprising 35% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Switzerland ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Poland, with a 6.8% share.
In Germany, exports of chocolate bars with cereals, fruit or nuts increased at an average annual rate of +4.3% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Switzerland (+1.2% per year) and Poland (+6.5% per year).

The Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Russia, Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic and Sweden lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 36%.

From 2015 to 2022, the import prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, major importing countries recorded the following prices: in Slovakia ($X per ton) and Germany ($X per ton), while Spain ($X per ton) and Belgium ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
