As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country
Belgium (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) represented roughly 55% of total exports in 2021. Spain (X tons) took the next position in the ranking, followed by Norway (X tons) and Germany (X tons). All these countries together held near 32% share of total exports. The following exporters - Belarus (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) - each reached a 6.2% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Belarus (with a CAGR of +26.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest dolomite supplying countries in Europe were Norway ($X), Belgium ($X) and Spain ($X), with a combined 50% share of total exports. Slovakia, Germany, the Netherlands and Belarus lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 34%.
Belarus, with a CAGR of +19.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per ton, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the export price increased by 8.4%. The level of export peaked at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per ton), while Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Dolomite imports rose significantly to X tons in 2021, increasing by 14% against the previous year. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.4% from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The purchases of the four major importers of dolomite, namely Ukraine, the Netherlands, Germany and the Czech Republic, represented more than two-thirds of total import. The UK (X tons) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 7.2% share, followed by Poland (6.7%). France (X tons) and Sweden (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.

In value terms, the Netherlands ($X), Germany ($X) and the UK ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, with a combined 43% share of total imports.
The UK, with a CAGR of +9.1%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, with an increase of 5.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 9.5%. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Sweden ($X per ton), while the Czech Republic ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
