The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Italy ($X), Germany ($X) and Austria ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 96% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Belgium, Poland, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Hungary, the Czech Republic and the UK, which together accounted for a further 1.8%.
Among the main exporting countries, the Netherlands, with a CAGR of +9.7%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
In 2021, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, increasing by 47% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a remarkable increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 when the export price increased by 57% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+56.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Sweden (with a CAGR of +25.2%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest wood drilling machine importing markets in Europe were Poland ($X), France ($X) and Russia ($X), together comprising 39% of total imports. These countries were followed by Germany, Belgium, Spain, Austria, Sweden, the UK, the Czech Republic, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands, which together accounted for a further 34%.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
