In value terms, frozen poultry liver exports rose markedly to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 17%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

The Netherlands (X tons) and Poland (X tons) represented roughly 49% of total exports in 2022. Ukraine (X tons) held an 8.7% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Germany (7.7%). The UK (X tons), Belgium (X tons), Hungary (X tons), France (X tons), Spain (X tons), Belarus (X tons) and Denmark (X tons) took a minor share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Belarus (with a CAGR of +22.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Poland ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and Ukraine ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined 58% share of total exports. Germany, France, Hungary, Belarus, Spain, the UK, Belgium and Denmark lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 31%.
Belarus, with a CAGR of +26.3%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2022, jumping by 23% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, the export price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per ton), while Belgium ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+3.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in Europe
In 2022, supplies from abroad of frozen poultry livers and offal increased by 6% to X tons, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a slight setback. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, frozen poultry liver imports skyrocketed to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of import peaked at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Imports by Country
In 2022, the Netherlands (X tons), distantly followed by Germany (X tons), France (X tons), the UK (X tons), Spain (X tons) and Romania (X tons) represented the main importers of frozen poultry livers and offal, together mixing up 54% of total imports. Ukraine (X tons), Italy (X tons), Belgium (X tons), Bulgaria (X tons), Albania (X tons), North Macedonia (X tons) and Sweden (X tons) held a minor share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main importing countries, was attained by Italy (with a CAGR of +11.0%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest frozen poultry liver importing markets in Europe were Germany ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and France ($X), together comprising 41% of total imports. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per ton), while Ukraine ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
