In 2021, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per ton, surging by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2012; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($X per ton), while Estonia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The import price in Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 4.6% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 5.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import prices attained the peak figure in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
