In value terms, the largest glass fibres and wool supplying countries in Europe were Germany ($X), Spain ($X) and the UK ($X), together accounting for 41% of total exports. France, Italy, Belgium, Serbia, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland, Russia, Finland and Belarus lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 39%.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 an increase of 19%. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
