In value terms, exports of gravel, pebbles and crushed stone for concrete and road aggregates amounted to $X in 2021. In general, exports saw a slight curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 11%. Over the period under review, the exports of attained the maximum at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest gravel, pebbles and crushed stone for concrete and road aggregates supplying countries in Europe were Norway ($X), France ($X) and Germany ($X), together accounting for 43% of total exports. These countries were followed by Belgium, the UK, Belarus, Denmark, Ukraine, Spain, Finland, Croatia, Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which together accounted for a further 37%.
Romania, with a CAGR of +18.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the export price increased by 5.8% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2021 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per ton), while Bosnia and Herzegovina ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+9.3%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
