In 2021, Italy (X units), distantly followed by Germany (X units), Poland (X units), Austria (X units), the UK (X units), Estonia (X units) and Sweden (X units) represented the major exporters of hand-held blow pipes for soldering, brazing or welding, together comprising 77% of total exports. Belgium (X units), France (X units), the Czech Republic (X units), Spain (X units), Russia (X units) and the Netherlands (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

In 2021, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, with an increase of 12% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, recorded a perceptible setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when the export price increased by 17% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per unit), while the UK ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+2.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, overseas purchases of hand-held blow pipes for soldering, brazing or welding increased by 57% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. Total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +7.1% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +68.5% against 2019 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
