From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Poland (with a CAGR of +23.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 an increase of 9.2%. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per unit), while Belgium ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Italy (+3.5%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

In 2022, approx. X units of hydraulic presses for working metal were imported in Europe; reducing by -10.8% against the year before. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a pronounced increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 166% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. In value terms, Germany ($X), Russia ($X) and France ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2022, together comprising 37% of total imports. Italy, Romania, Spain, the Netherlands, the UK, Sweden, Belgium, Denmark, Finland and Lithuania lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 23%.
Among the main importing countries, Romania, with a CAGR of +11.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in Europe stood at $X per unit in 2022, surging by 2.7% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the import price increased by 87%. Over the period under review, import prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+4.2%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the import price figures.
