The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +13.2%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -9.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a noticeable setback. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 an increase of 14% against the previous year. There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per unit), while the UK ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Among the main importing countries, Sweden, with a CAGR of +26.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, declining by -5% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 an increase of 46% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per unit), while Russia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
