In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified exports fell significantly to $X in 2022. Total exports indicated tangible growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.7% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when exports increased by 28% against the previous year. In value terms, the Netherlands ($X) remains the largest non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified supplier in Europe, comprising 52% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Spain ($X), with a 16% share of total exports. It was followed by Austria, with a 5.8% share.

The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 10%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.
In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports dropped to $X in 2022. Total imports indicated measured growth from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +3.6% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 13%. The second position in the ranking was taken by Russia ($X), with a 13% share of total imports. It was followed by Germany, with a 12% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value in the Netherlands stood at +8.1%. The remaining importing countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Russia (+2.9% per year) and Germany (+1.7% per year).
