In value terms, Italy ($X) remains the largest spectacle non-plastic frame supplier in Europe, comprising 45% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Germany ($X), with a 10% share of total exports. It was followed by France, with a 7.7% share.

In Italy, spectacle non-plastic frame exports increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Germany (-2.7% per year) and France (-5.9% per year).
