The export price in Europe stood at $X per unit in 2021, declining by -81.7% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a precipitous descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 an increase of 55%. Over the period under review, the export prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per unit), while the Netherlands amounted to $X per unit.

As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, and then fell slightly in the following year.

In value terms, oil dispensing pump imports soared to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the period from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Imports by Country

In 2021, the Netherlands (X units) represented the key importer of petrol and oil dispensing pumps, mixing up 56% of total imports. The UK (X units) took an 11% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Belgium (6.7%). Germany (X units), Russia (X units), Italy (X units), Poland (X units), France (X units) and Spain (X units) took a little share of total imports.

The Netherlands was also the fastest-growing in terms of the petrol and oil dispensing pumps imports, with a CAGR of +50.6% from 2012 to 2021. In value terms, the Netherlands ($X), Belgium ($X) and Germany ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, together accounting for 48% of total imports.

The Netherlands, with a CAGR of +40.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

In 2021, the import price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, jumping by 37% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a abrupt decrease. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while the UK ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+4.2%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the import price figures.
