The Europe poultry incubator market declined to $X in 2022, with a decrease of -10.4% against the previous year. In general, consumption faced a deep downturn. Over the period under review, the market hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, poultry incubator production fell to $X in 2022 estimated in export price. In general, production saw a abrupt decline. Exports in Europe

In 2022, exports of poultry incubators and brooders in Europe shrank slightly to X units, with a decrease of -3.4% on 2021 figures. In general, exports showed a mild decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when exports increased by 101%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, poultry incubator exports declined to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports continue to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when exports increased by 103%. As a result, the exports reached the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

Exports by Country

In 2022, Belgium (X units), the Netherlands (X units) and Spain (X units) represented the major exporter of poultry incubators and brooders in Europe, mixing up 81% of total export. It was distantly followed by the UK (X units), constituting a 5.2% share of total exports. The following exporters - Portugal (X units), Italy (X units) and France (X units) - together made up 8.5% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Spain (with a CAGR of +16.6%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

In value terms, Belgium ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and the UK ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined 81% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Spain, Italy, France and Portugal, which together accounted for a further 15%.

Spain, with a CAGR of +9.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

Export Prices by Country

In 2022, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, dropping by -2.3% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when the export price increased by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per unit), while Spain ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+2.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in Europe

In 2022, imports of poultry incubators and brooders in Europe skyrocketed to X units, increasing by 22% against the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a perceptible shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 59%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, poultry incubator imports declined significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a abrupt slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 with an increase of 55%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Imports by Country

Russia was the main importer of poultry incubators and brooders in Europe, with the volume of imports reaching X units, which was near 52% of total imports in 2022. France (X units) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Finland (X units). All these countries together took approx. 17% share of total imports. The following importers - Portugal (X units), the UK (X units), Ukraine (X units), Germany (X units), Italy (X units), Poland (X units) and Serbia (X units) - together made up 20% of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to poultry incubator imports into Russia stood at +2.8%. At the same time, Finland (+42.8%), Serbia (+26.9%), Italy (+6.0%), Portugal (+4.1%) and France (+4.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Finland emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Europe, with a CAGR of +42.8% from 2012-2022. The UK experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Germany (-12.4%), Ukraine (-14.5%) and Poland (-19.2%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Russia, Finland, France, Portugal, Serbia and Italy increased by +25, +6.7, +5.7, +2.3, +1.6 and +1.6 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X), France ($X) and Ukraine ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2022, with a combined 42% share of total imports. Portugal, Finland, Germany, Poland, Italy, Serbia and the UK lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 33%.

Finland, with a CAGR of +47.1%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Import Prices by Country

In 2022, the import price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, declining by -41.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a pronounced curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 14% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while Russia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
