In 2022, Germany (X tons) represented the largest exporter of prisms and mirrors, comprising 45% of total exports. The Czech Republic (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, distantly followed by France (X tons). All these countries together held approx. 31% share of total exports. The Netherlands (X tons), Belgium (X tons), Finland (X tons), Italy (X tons) and the UK (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main exporting countries, was attained by Finland (with a CAGR of +26.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2021, and then shrank rapidly in the following year.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 23% against the previous year. The level of import peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.

Hungary (X tons) held the second position in the ranking, followed by Poland (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons). All these countries together held approx. 45% share of total imports.
