Among the main exporting countries, Romania, with a CAGR of +45.4%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in Europe amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -34.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 24% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($X per unit), while Poland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Switzerland (+1.3%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

In general, imports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 70% against the previous year.
