There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per litre), while North Macedonia ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.

Over the period under review, imports recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 3.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X litres in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, the import price in Europe amounted to $X per litre, shrinking by -5.6% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the import price increased by 16% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per litre, and then shrank in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($X per litre), while Italy ($X per litre) was amongst the lowest.
