It was distantly followed by Ireland (X units), achieving a 4.5% share of total exports. The Netherlands (X units), Luxembourg (X units), Denmark (X units), Hungary (X units) and the UK (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Poland (with a CAGR of +126.3%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per unit), while Poland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Ireland (+21.8%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, supplies from abroad of wrist-watches, pocket-watches, stop-watches and other watches; with case of precious metal or of metal clad with precious metals decreased by -0.8% to X units for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year rising trend. In general, imports, however, enjoyed significant growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 292%. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, leveling off in the following year.
