The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 203% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X, and then dropped significantly in the following year.

Russia (X units), Estonia (X units) and Latvia (X units) were the main destinations of baby carriage exports from Finland, together accounting for 92% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Estonia (with a CAGR of +37.8%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Russia ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for baby carriages exports from Finland, comprising 52% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Estonia ($X), with a 24% share of total exports. It was followed by Lithuania, with a 9.3% share.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a noticeable slump. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 38% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then reduced in the following year.

Sweden (X units), China (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main suppliers of baby carriage imports to Finland, with a combined 83% share of total imports. Estonia, Denmark, Poland, Hungary and the Netherlands lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 14%.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when the average import price increased by 32% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Netherlands ($X per unit), while the price for Hungary ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
