Sweden (X units), Norway (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main destinations of truck and bus tyre exports from Finland, together comprising 72% of total exports. Canada, Germany, Estonia, the Czech Republic, Russia, France, Poland, Switzerland and Italy lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 25%.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 when imports increased by 22%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In 2022, Russia (X units) constituted the largest truck and bus tyre supplier to Finland, with a 34% share of total imports. Moreover, truck and bus tyre imports from Russia exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, China (X units), threefold. The average truck and bus tyre import price stood at $X per unit in 2022, picking up by 12% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a perceptible shrinkage. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($X per unit), while the price for Serbia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
