Groundnut Oil Market Size in France

In 2021, the French groundnut oil market increased by 66% to $X for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Over the period under review, consumption, however, showed a drastic downturn. Groundnut oil consumption peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, consumption remained at a lower figure.

The Netherlands (X tons) was the main destination for groundnut oil exports from France, accounting for a 45% share of total exports. Moreover, groundnut oil exports to the Netherlands exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Belgium (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was held by Germany (X tons), with a 16% share.
