The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 137% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X units in 2021, and then dropped dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, hydraulic press imports reduced to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 143%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2019 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of hydraulic press to France, accounting for a 49% share of total imports. Moreover, hydraulic press imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X units), twofold.
