Mate Market Size in France

The French mate market contracted remarkably to $X in 2022, which is down by -26.2% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). In 2022, mate imports into France reduced markedly to X tons, dropping by -37.9% compared with 2021 figures. Overall, imports recorded a noticeable decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 62%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
