The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 16%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In 2021, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest plastic container supplier to France, with a 27% share of total imports. Moreover, plastic container imports from Germany exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X tons), twofold.
