The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 16%. The exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Belgium (X tons), the UK (X tons) and Spain (X tons) were the main destinations of exports of salted, dried or smoked meat, and offal from France, together accounting for 44% of total exports. Italy, Portugal, Germany, Ireland, Poland, Chile, Greece, the Netherlands and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 41%.
