The exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Turkey (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Spain (X tons) were the main destinations of sheepskin and lambskin exports from France, with a combined 77% share of total exports. China, the Netherlands, Pakistan and Russia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 18%.
