Imports into France
In 2022, vaccine imports into France contracted markedly to X tons, reducing by -45.1% against 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a buoyant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 765%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then dropped notably in the following year.
In value terms, vaccine imports declined markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed temperate growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when imports increased by 469% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In 2022, Switzerland (X tons) constituted the largest vaccine supplier to France, with a 65% share of total imports. Moreover, vaccine imports from Switzerland exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Germany (X tons), threefold.
