Imports in GCC

In 2022, radar apparatus imports in GCC fell to X units, reducing by -5.9% compared with the previous year's figure. Overall, imports saw a abrupt downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 36%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, radar apparatus imports dropped sharply to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports recorded a deep contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 114% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

The United Arab Emirates represented the largest importing country with an import of about X units, which resulted at 73% of total imports.
