From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (-2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Germany
In 2021, approx. X tons of aniline and its salts (excluding derivatives) were imported into Germany; growing by 12% compared with the previous year's figure. Over the period under review, imports saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 32%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, aniline imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, saw a mild setback. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, Belgium (X tons) was the main aniline supplier to Germany, with a 90% share of total imports. Moreover, aniline imports from Belgium exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the Netherlands (X tons), more than tenfold.
