The Netherlands (X units) was the main destination for bicycle exports from Germany, with a 31% share of total exports. Moreover, bicycle exports to the Netherlands exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Austria (X units), threefold. The average bicycle import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, picking up by 2.2% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a resilient expansion from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +5.8% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, bicycle import price increased by +66.7% against 2012 indices.
