In 2022, exports of grapefruits from Germany declined to X tons, falling by -12.4% against the previous year. Overall, exports showed a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 12%. The exports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

These countries were followed by Finland, Austria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Sweden, Denmark, Romania, Slovenia, France and Spain, which together accounted for a further 27%.
