As a result, imports reached the peak of X units, and then fell notably in the following year.

In value terms, lifting equipment imports fell dramatically to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate a mild reduction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 93%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Spain (X units), Austria (X units) and China (X units) were the main suppliers of lifting equipment imports to Germany, together accounting for 66% of total imports.
