Meat Market Size in Germany

The German meat market reached $X in 2022, growing by X% against the previous year. Overall, consumption, however, recorded a mild slump. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, meat exports totaled $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Italy (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main destinations of meat exports from Germany, together accounting for X% of total exports. Austria, the Czech Republic, the UK, Romania, Denmark, France, Greece, Hungary, Spain and Croatia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Romania (with a CAGR of X%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
