Persimmon Market Size in Germany

After five years of growth, the German persimmon market decreased by -7.2% to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, consumption, however, saw a remarkable increase. Over the period under review, the market reached the maximum level at $X in 2020, and then shrank in the following year.

Persimmon imports into Germany reduced remarkably to X tons in 2021, shrinking by -16.9% compared with the year before. In general, imports, however, posted a prominent expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 76%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, persimmon imports dropped to $X in 2021. Overall, total imports indicated a remarkable increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +11.4% over the last nine years.
