In value terms, concrete pump imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports enjoyed a strong increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 155% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest concrete pump supplier to Ghana, accounting for a 68% share of total imports. Moreover, concrete pump imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, the UK (X units), ninefold.
